At VOUW, you won't find narrow specialists; we are a team of generalists, each with a keen grasp on a wide array of skills and a readiness to get our hands dirty. We thrive on the 80/20 rule, embracing the Delft Design Method for rapid prototyping, reflection, and relentless iteration.

What We Do

Our projects are battles against the elements, crafted for the physical world that demands robustness against rain, wind, heat, cold, UV rays, and the bustling touch of humanity. We don't just sit back on beanbags with coffee and 3D renders; we're on the floor welding, turning, casting, and soldering. Every design is a challenge we are eager to meet, an opportunity to engage deeply and not let go until it works.

Internship Opportunities at VOUW

As our projects grow, we are always on the lookout for enthusiastic interns who are love to merge art & design with technology. If you are decisive, take initiative, and are eager to increase your creativity and technical skills, our internship might be right for you. We offer a hands-on experience in a small team environment where you can take significant responsibility, from new concepts to business development. The internship is full-time for a minimum of four months with a stipend of €350/month.

We currently have two positions open for an internship:

• Product Design Internship:
  Work at the intersection of design and technology, contributing to innovative projects and collaborating closely with our founders and creative team. You’ll support research, design, and implementation phases, bring fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions, assist in constructing and maintaining prototypes, and help plan and execute exhibitions and public installations.

• Marketing & communication internship:
  Gain hands-on experience managing social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram, editing photos and videos, curating and organizing photo shoots, and contributing to the development of comprehensive marketing strategies. Enjoy the freedom to explore and try new things while taking charge and bringing innovative ideas to the table.”
