Poem Booth lauched at Lowlands 2023

At the 2023 edition of Lowlands Festival, the first version of the Poem Booth is launched, as part of the literary programme. The Poem Booth is an AI poem machine; based on a photo taken on the spot, the technique develops a beautiful poem in no time, responding to what the photo shows.

For this version VOUW asked Maarten Inghels, former city poet of Antwerp, to tailor and tune the poems. After this, more poets will be involved in the project, and VOUW will also expand the project to other languages. To also strengthen human values with technology with this slow-tech innovation.

Poem Booth is developed in collaboration with Hugo Visser of Little Robots.
